THE BEST tackle box

This is the biggest strongest TB made. I take mine everywhere, and people knows if you ask me for ------ I probably have it. I have used this style for over 10 years.

It replaced my older Plano which finally broke. I trying to replace it but could not find a this model.......Called them, Plano said "Did that have a medical symbol on it?" LOL I had purchased a 1st Aide box. I trying to replace it to no avail. Well listen to this Plano kept me this one FOR FREE.

Just purchased a 2nd one as insurance .....I'd be despondent if was discontinued.
Pros
  • Amount of storage space.
  • Much easier to access everything vs tray storage systems.
  • Strong enough to carry significant weight .
  • Opens from both sides facilitates accessibility.
  • Large number of storage spaces permits individual space for many different tackle products
  • Top trays allow for larger items such as pliers
  • STRONG Hinges/Extremely well made
Cons
  • Some could ask for larger storage spaces. These are not big enough to hold larger Plugs.

Biggest Box I could find !

I absolutely love this tackle box....it houses the majority of my saltwater gear nicely....I have it stuffed to the gills and while really heavy while loaded, the box and handle dont seem to be stressed at all. Good quality and while I read many negative reviews about the small tray compartments, it holds and organizes everything I have perfectly !

Big box but small compartments
April 19, 2018
This is a huge box that can double as a bath tub. I hope to use the box for terminal tackle, extra knives, pliers, reel butter, lights and all the misc. gear you need for a extended fishing trip. I already keep my plugs, metals, soft tails and buck tails in their dedicated boxes, so I had no plans of that. I just wanted a box to keep my biggest bulk items. Unfortunately, I will have to cut the sidewalls out of half of the compartments to fit anything larger than a pair of clippers.
Pros
  • Large base box. Appears well made and tough.
Cons
  • Very small bins - can't hold plugs or any lures of any size.

Very good tackle box

I have several of them loaded with all my lures and they are very good boxes. These are very good because I have most of them fit it 5 of them. I found them on sale for $20 and I got a lot of them. I highly recommend it.

Big capacity and strong enough to hold heavy tackle.
February 3, 2014
I have a number of tackle boxes both hard plastic and soft sided. This box is a favorite of mine, and I have it dedicated to bottom fishing tackle.
(Catfish & Lake Sturgeon from shore)
Mine is loaded with various sizes of hooks, swivels, extra line, tools, and many big lead sinkers. Fast water calls for a lot of weight to hold the bait down, and I have enough lead in this box to make it an effort to carry. Nothing has bent, broken, or become hard to operate under it's overloaded condition. I highly recommend this Tackle Box
Pros
  • Holds more than you need.
Cons
  • When using in a boat it takes a lot of room to open it fully.
