It is watertight

I usually use this box to store battery packs and my phone. It's been through many rainy seasons and have never had moisture or water enter this box.

- Bit of a pain to open and close but saves your electronics.

Great box. Water tight. I'd give 5 stars but I bought to hold cell phone, wallet, and keys on the kayak. Interior dimension is to small to hold iPhone 6+ with my protective cover. I'll definitely find other uses.
