For $120 this rod is amazing. I paired it with the curado k with 50lb braid/20lb fluorocarbon and use it in the bay and couldn’t be happier. I throw 3” and 5” swim baits and the sensitivity is amazing. I compare this to my loomis casting rod at half the price.

I've fished numerous rods in all different price ranges and this out performs some rods in the $200 range. Very sensitive and light couldn't be happier with it!

Great blank, BUT!

The rod blank is great, great sensitivity, great back bone, great feel. The problem is with the reel seat. To tighten your reel on the rod, you have to screw the handle up to the reel, meaning that any tourque on the handle in the wrong direction can cause your reel to loosen. This can be a major problem! I have to keep tightening the reel to the rod.

Great find

I bought the 6'-10" ml with the intention of throwing small crankbaits and light jerk baits. On a whim I mounted a Daiwa Fuego
reel with 10 lb. braid and started throwing wacky worms. This rod/reel combination is amazing
for this application. I can cast a 5" Yum dinger as far as I need to and the rod has decent
backbone for the action. You won't be horsing them out of weed beds but you can control a decent
size fish. Works well for cranks also. Just plane fun to fish with.
