VERY GOOD PRODUCT

I have been maintaining fishing reels for over 40 years with various brands and size quantities of grease. I was very pleased to find this Penn Premium grease in a16 oz size that I don't have to worry about skimping the amount I use on each reel while I am working on it. I also find the blue color pleasing to work with.
Pros
- Large easy open container that makes it easy to scoop out what you need or put some back in, if you took out too much.
Cons
- The only con would be that I hadn't found this product years ago.

I like the large quantity. Now I don't have to wonder if there will have enough to lube all of my reels. This is a premium, thin grease that gets into everything. Easy to apply. Be careful to not let it touch a white towel under your work area; it will be green also!

It does what it's supposed to do. Is it the best reel grease out there? I'm sure there are some high end products that are great but if you use this as intended it will work 100% for your needs and at a reasonable price. Recommended.

This is the best grease for greasing your Penn reels or for that matter all of the big reels for salt water fishing. When you service your reels this is the grease to use when putting them back together. Hands down!

Keeps fresh and saltwater reels running smooth. Only problem was didn't come with anything to apply. I just used a cue tip, small screwdriver or my fingers and worked well still

Can this grease be used on carbon fiber drags? I watch reel repair videos and many seem to use Cals tan grease, not a reel grease. Is there a difference?
