Great product andprice, fast shipping. Wish the rod had a little more backbone or Penn offered rod choices with this combo. Will purchase again

I bought two of these in December ; they stay on the boat never touch the water: rods are perfect! Reels have been problematic from day one!! Drags are sticky !! And by sticky I mean they lock down and usually at the worst possible time! So bad that a guest kept unscrewing the drag to the point the reel cap fell in the water: reel was still stuck
Pros
- Well balanced, light, yet tough enough for snook, and schoolie - dolphin. Wife loves the look and feel.
Cons
- Shittiest drag system -Penn should be ashame, no name brands work better.

Have not been able to truly battle test it as of yet- but the fit and finish, feel weight and balance is very nice- seems like a quality rod and reel at a very affordable price- My wife and I love the color scheme and I might add it matches the boat nicely- one of my favorite features is the rubber grp around reel-spool so that line does not spin on spool.
