Good solid Winder

Overall this is a good solid winder, it could have been nice if it comes with its own seat bracket to place the Reels for winding.

Easy use, heavy enough to sit on the floor while you spool, threaded rod is a bit cumbersome but it works and it works well

Good Spooling Tool at a reasonable price
February 1, 2020
This spooling tool allowed to spool brad on my reels in a tight and uniform manner. This tool like all spoolers is simple and easy to use, but unlike others, Penn’s spoolers can be purchased at a reasonable price.
Pros
  • Simple and efficient design
  • Reasonable cost in relationship to the competition.
  • Portable, but can be affixed to a work bench if so desired.
Cons
  • Cost

Penn line winder
September 6, 2019
The line winder is good except -- when putting it together ALL the BOLT HOLES had to get TAPED because the coating on it got onto the bolt holes. I rebuild reels so I had the proper tap [5/16"X 18] to clean the holes out.
