Kudos to Penn for moving the bar forward. These reels have upgrades from the V series, which were already a standard in offshore fishing. The 50visws are lighter than my 50vsx reels, which were a narrow frame. Great reels

Why does only have 15lb of drag

Hi Miguel, The Penn INT12VI Single Speed International VI Trolling Reel is made to only be used with 15lb monofilament line maximum for this reel and are meant to be used as a light trolling reel. I would recommend the Penn INT12VISX International VISX Trolling Reel. https://www.tackledirect.com/penn-int12visx-international-visx-trolling-reel.html This model has a higher drag rating and is rated up to 40lbs of Max Drag. This would be ideal for many saltwater fishing applications. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.

Can i load a 110lbs of braided line on the Penn 12VI Single Speed?

The Penn International VI Single Speed trolling reel INT12VI is only meant to handle up to 15lb mono / 65lb braid as it only has 15lb max drag. You should go up to INT30VI or larger if you want to use 110lb braid. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
