I have Saragosa 6000 would this be a good match for this rod?
1 Answer
Joseph,

The Shimano Saragosa SW 6000 will pair nicely with the Penn Battalion II Slow Pitch spinning rod.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Which rod do you recommend for snapper/grouper in 80-120 ft of water?  ML or MH?

I recommend going medium heavy.

What reel should I pair this with.

Do you carry slow jigging rod and reel combos?

1 Answer
If you are going medium light I would recommend the Penn Slammer III 4500 or the Penn Battle III 5000.

If you decide to go medium heavy then I would recommend the Penn Slammer III 5500 or Penn Battle III 8000/8000HS

You really want to have that slower gear ratio to give you a slower retrieve rate.
