Similar to the Penn Rod, I would recommend a Tsunami Trophy II Surf Rod. Specifically model: TSTIISS-1002DM; TackleDirect Code: TSU-0294. https://www.tackledirect.com/tsunami-tstiiss-1002dm-trophy-ii-surf-spinning-rod.html.
