Panther Martin Inline Spinners are among the most iconic lures ever produced. The original inline spinner, Panther Martin's have become a staple in the trout fishing community over the past 60 years, and have been proven to be undeniably effective on anything from stocked rainbows and browns to giant native steelhead and salmon. Over the past few decades, Panther Martin Inline Spinners have also proven to be effective when targeting bass, walleye, panfish, pike, pickerel, muskie, and many other species.

Panther Martin Spinners are the world's easiest and fastest spinning inline spinners thanks to their signature shaft-through blade design. This simplistic approach minimizes the use of unnecessary hardware on the lure, ensuring proper blade rotation time and time again without fail. The Convex/Concave spinning blade sends out a subtle vibration and flash that predatory fish will find irresistible. The heavy weighted bodies will aid in casting distance and running depth, allowing you to cover large amounts of water with this highly effective presentation. Each Panther Martin Inline Spinner features a razor sharp premium quality treble hook designed to keep fish pinned.

Simple and effective for all things swimming

Smaller LMs, grass pickerel, bluegill, crappie, and anything else you can think of will hit this thing. I use the smaller one for creek fishing so I haven't had any monsters, but it is fun and easy to retrieve. The tiny treble hooks are annoying as stated in the other review, but bring some pliers and be patient and it will be fine. Not to be fished near weeds unless you enjoy being frustrated.
Pros
  • -Simple
  • -Multi-species
  • -Readily available
  • -Plenty of colors and sizes available for different applications
Cons
  • -Price

it works ... it works.

Got this a couple days ago and been catching tons of bluegills and other panfish everyday. its a lot of fun for the kids; something different from the drop worm and wait for a bite (can be dull for the kids). Only reason its not getting a 5 star is that the treble hook can be hard to take out if bit by a smaller panfish. But if its not a treble hook, what can they use to make it just as effective?
Pros
  • Easy to cast and return....gets bites almost every time and catches most!
