P-Line Floroclear Fluorocarbon Coated Mono Line is virtually invisible due to its fluorocarbon coating that gives anglers the ultimate stealthy presentation. Since it is not a true 100% fluorocarbon line, Floroclear provides for incredible knot strength and castability over traditional fluorocarbon lines due to its vastly reduced memory. Great for both finesse techniques in freshwater for bass and inshore saltwater applications targeting striped bass, redfish, and more, P-Line Floroclear line casts beyond expectations.

Great but...

I wouldn't recommend this as your main line, tons of memory but as a leader line, on complaints here.

Perfect LB Test for casting small lures.
June 23, 2020
I live and fish for Trout in the Sierras and found that this is the perfect line class for me. You will need a soft enough rod and a smooth dependable drag to match this 3 lb test. The Pline fluro coating on this small diameter line renders it near invisable and will truly get you bit more often, however if fishing rivers beware of nicks or line chafing. Remember one nick can really weaken your line. I finesse this line with a light action 7' St Croix premier rod and a Shimano HGFL Stradic 1000. I would rate this line quality with Maxima Ultragreen and use both with great confidence !
Pros
  • Light line casts much farther.
  • Near invisability.
  • Trout will jump more due to lighter pressure used against them.
  • Makes landing 2-4 lb fish more sporting.
Cons
  • Knots used must be perfectly tied.
  • Cant handle much abrasion.
  • Should be changed out frequently.
  • Difficult to find at retail stores.

Fine line

Been using this line for a while now (15 lbs) and have had zero issues. No issues with memory, no issues with break offs, none with knot strength, etc. What I don't know is whether this line actually casts farther as it is advertised. It is smooth coming off the reel. From experience, this line lasts longer than other flourocarbon coated line I have tried. It is the best one on the market. Stick with P-line!
