I've been use these hooks for live baiting shrimp for a few years now. I mainly use a size #1 hook. They are very sharp and strong. i have landed tarpon up to 50 lbs and jumped larger ones on them. I would recommend to anyone.

I have always used owner hooks and they have never let me down until i used these hooks. I tried to use these hooks for saltwater live bait fishing in 1/0. Quality wise these hooks are well made, have not had one break or bend. But functionality wise they do not work well. Live bait fall off the hook almost 60% of the time before or while casting. The hook up ratios are decent, wouldnt expect less with such a sharp hook. But tarpon and snook shake the hook almost everytime. They might work for another persons uses but for my use i would not buy these hooks again.
