Simple and Indestructible

Jimmy Johnson, the Dallas Cowboy's former head coach actually backed these Ft. Lauderdale made Out-Rovers all the way back in 2010! The last guy who reviewed these solidly made one piece, fixed birds posted a picture of the running about 15 feet off of the centerline with a rear mounted rod holder, so I bought them. The through wire and snap swivel are a very solid 250lb. Set-up. (If that is enough for you needs.) I am going to troll live baits and use these to keep them separated. NY Bight giants might take apart the snap swivels pretty quickly so I am going to need to replace them before I use them for giants. There is no planer board. Just an off-angled through wired bird that is one piece poly-carbonate construction. Seems indestructible. I can't wait to use them. I am going to run them from Forward rod holders near the casting platform to maximize my spread.

Must have for a small boat!!

This has been a great addition for small boat trolling. The image attached shows how far left it can go with a 25ft leader and a nice size bullet head on the end of it. Tracks awesome but on tight corners seems to go wild spinning around but once straight it goes into position again. I strongly recommend changing the mono rig that comes with it. Use cable and a better swivel. The swivel that comes with it is not good after a few trips. You do that and it becomes more amazing!!

  • Spins on short turns
  • Not good in harsh weather
  • Cant be set up tp far (50m max)
