The Orion Electronic SOS Beacon Locator Kit flashes 2x longer than the USCG continuous run-time requirement and maintains constant light intensity 2.5x times longer than the USCG requirement. The light source extends 4 in. above waterline to increase visibility. Multiple deployment options include: floatable self-righting design, handheld with molded-in plastic grips, and hanging with provided lanyard. Low battery indicator function quick flashes for 5 seconds when the unit is turning on if batteries need replacing.
