Picked this up on sale from TackleDirect and it performs nicely for the price. Was my first 13 fishing reel so I didn't want to break the bank....but it's highly rated for a reason.

Used this reel for opening fishing season by me and it preformed extremely well. Very smooth casting and reeling. This reel is very comfortable in the hand an if fairly light. Most definitely will purchase again.

This is an extremely smooth reel and is an extremely good value. Have not fished with it long so can’t speak on longevity, but first several weeks of use all is well and I’d recommend this reel, or any other of their gear. All 13 Fishing equipment I’ve purchased has been great.

Awesome cast ability, but be sure you adjust the spool speed or you’ll be spending some time with a bird nest. Feels really good in your hand, and you can tell the difference between other reels in the same price range, doesn’t feel all plasticy, solid reel think I’m gonna buy another for back up. Might even splurge and move up to the 150$ model. Feels a little hard when reeling in, not as easy as I thought it would be, besides that I love it

This reel was a great price and I got as a gift for my nephew he loves it and it planning to use it when he goes bass fishing out of his kayak or his boat.

Great reel overall. No magnetic break but very smooth casting and has plenty of power. Caught an 8lb 9oz largemouth this weekend and had no trouble horsing him into the net!

I think the key to any fishing reel is keeping it cleaned and serviceable. I see no reason this reel will not hold up to the fishing standards I expect. I have 2 reels spooled and ready and they are now my go to equipment for big bass equipment.

I recently purchased the FB reel and I am glad to report that it is as good as my Origin C. It is light and was easy to get used to. I have other reels from this company and product support is fantastic.

I purchased this reel on sale for $54.99, it is definitely worth every penny. Feels just as good as other reels that cost $150. Definitely a must if you are on a budget.

I really like this reel. Right out of the package it is smooth and is lighter than the other origin reel. And definitely can’t beat the price from Tackle Direct!
