I am so glad that I bought this combo the reel is so smooth never once got tangled in the spool I paired with Spider Wire blue camo the rod is a great paired with this reel.
I used it for the first time from a Jetty with a 4 ounce weight can't believe how smooth and far it went.

great reel the external bail trip is useless and kind of gets in the way but I still like the reel. the reel seat on the rod doesn't quite match up with the reel kind of weird but it holds the reel

cedros rod is light and durable. very comfortable pole to fish all day. The trio rex is an awesome reel for the price, but a little too big for this pole
