Can't beat it for the price, simply impossible. However the rod is veryyyy thick, almost 2x thicker then my buddies other Okuma surf rod. I only beach fish once in a while so this is ok for me. Put on a 6000 Penn fierce. Can launch a 3oz spoon almost 100yds to the second sandbar for bluefish

I bought the 8ft medium power model and I’m quite impressed by the performance. It’s a strong rod and casts a mile. Besides that the rod is beautifully finished and I could almost consider it a piece of art.

According to the Okuma website the Tundra does not have a lure rating. There may be more information available when the Okuma starts to release these rods in September.
