Built with the demands of competitive anglers in mind, the Okuma Serrano Spinning Rods put tournament level performance in the hands of any angler at an unbeatable value. Built on a 24-ton carbon blank reinforced by Okuma's UFR-Ultimate Flex Reinforcement tip technology, the Serrano has the optimal blend of strength and sensitivity to cater towards the most popular bass fishing techniques. UFR technology blends unidirectional fiber over 24-ton carbon in the extended tip section of the rod to increase lifting strength and power by as much as 400%, while retaining the precision sensitivity required for finesse techniques. The Serrano line of rods is fully equipped to cover all bases of bass fishing techniques with a wide range of strength and tapers, including finesse rods that can throw weightless plastics, to heavy duty flippin' sticks, and everything in between. Making no compromises in the way of components, the Serrano is fitted with Fuji K-Concept guides with FAZ-Light inserts for superior casting performance and Winn Grip / EVA spit grips for the ultimate all-day, all-weather comfort.

This is the best light weight rod for bass I have ever had.
Pros
  • Incredible sensitivity, really is X-fast, plenty of lift even on the ML model.
Cons
  • None unless you don't like blue.
