Great for surf just a little to short

I got this reel for surf fishing in Galveston great reel plus the bait runner feature just wish it was a little louder the rod was a little to short so changed it out for a Diawa beefstick it’s still a great surf fishing combo

Great action Rod. I have one with 10pd test and 1 With 12pd. Took it salmon fishing in New York. Drag works great. Only problem I had was the line that was on it.
every other cast created a rats nest. Had to add more weight on it to solve the problem But lost a lot of 12lb test line.
