I just recently ordered a penn spinfisher 9500 form your company and am looking for a good rod to match it with. I was was wondering if the pch xh spinning rod would be a good fit. I would be using the rod off the beaches mostly for sharks and Goliath grouper. Or would I be better off going with a Shimano terez or tallus xh? Thank you for your time and great service!

You really wouldn't be able to cast out far with this rod unless you had a way to get your bait out to deeper water. You may be better off with a xh surf rod in the 11 to 12 foot length
