Good for kids and bait fishing

I have used for kids fishing and catching bait. Nothing special, but good value to meet the need. Hasn't shown any signs of rust even when left out on saltwater dock overnight quite a few times.

For a combo under $25, this is quite nice. I have one as a freshwater backup and I gave one to my friend as a gift. Pretty nice overall. Rod is sensitive and can handle fish well. I'd buy it again.
