Great Reel
September 11, 2017
I have been using this reel for a little over a month, the knob on the reel is great when you are fighting a fish. The reel casts smoothly, it has been a long time since I had used a baitcasting reel, this reel was easy to get used to. I have spooled it with 30lb Power Pro.

I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a saltwater baitcaster under $200!
Pros
  • The power knob handle, line capacity, ease of use
Cons
  • Colors are plain

I have used this reel twice now and I am really impressed. It has a nice compact design but packs plenty of power. The first trip out I put it to the test dragging up a 35in stripper a personal best and two more 30in class strippers with ease. The drag is super smooth. Both brake and drag adjustment are on clickers making your adjustments fine tuned. Just a good solid performing reel.

How much braid does this hold?  Length and pound?
1 Answer
Although this reel's line ratings are rated for mono, it should hold 300+ yards of 20-30 lb. test braid, which is equivalent to 6-8 lb. test mono.
