I was needing more storage for Crappie gear, they were not available ,so I went to Okuma web site and the bags were on sale for $30.00, I have a Falcon V-6 and it is full. The Yamamoto Senko boxes fit perfect. It is a great buy and it is well made.

i saw one of these and eventually went with a Spiderwire for 20 dollars less which has the capability of holding a spool of mono or braid on the side and a plier holder/hook remove on the other in nifty ways.

Tackle Bag Does the trick!

Well done Okuma. This is a nicely sized tackle bag with plenty of room in the plastic boxes for long jigs. Zippered compartments on the outside makes access to necessities easy. Construction is very heavy duty. Looks like it should give years of service. Sturdy zippers. Thanks for stocking this item Tackle Direct! We love it!

Best best best tackle bag I have ever had. Very much worth the money.

I took a chance on this bag when I ordered it, really liked it when I received it, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it now that I have used it. Everything on this bag is reinforced and clearly intended for heavy salt water use. There are compartments designed for many different types of gear, and of course the tackle trays are very good quality. There are two shallow trays and one deep one, just right for what I need. Shallow trays very useful. Reinforced compartments in the front of the bad and in the lid are used the most, but side pockets also roomy. Zippers are excellent. Bag looks good. Bottom of the bag is molded and reinforced. This bag makes my Orvis bag look like a piece of trash. Okuma read my mind when they designed this bag, and they knocked it out of the park! Tempted to get the smaller bag also, but I don't need it - yet.
Pros
  • Compartments everywhere, and just where a fisherman would want them. Very reinforced everywhere. I have no concerns about knives and other sharp edges in the bag. Great zippers. Stood up well to beach conditions, sand, etc. Spacious but not too big. Good carrying straps. I spent more time fishing and less time looking for stuff. Lastly, one tackle tray was cracked upon arrival. I called Okuma and they sent me a replacement, no questions asked. Thanks Okuma!! You have my respect.
Cons
  • There are no super wide compartments in the tackle trays. One compartment of this size would be nice.

How are the tackle trays oriented in the bag? Do they stack on top of each other? Or do they sit vertically (ie can pull any out)? I noticed a difference between this and the large in some pics. I’ll order either just want fast access to all trays at all times.
