Offshore Custom Tackles exclusive handmade shark rigs offer quality craftsmanship, from one fisherman to another. The basic rig consists of two(2) 11/0 Mustad 7699D offset hooks spaced 9 inches apart (perfect for mackerel), linked together with 480 lb cable. The hooks are then offset 90 degrees and shrink wrapped to hold its form for easy baiting and maximum hook ups. The leader is 15 feet of 275 lb brown camo cable with twisted double ends, copper crimps and a 350 lb Crane swivel.

Have not used them yet but they compare equally to other store bought rigs I have caught fish with. they materials and rigging quality seem to be top shelf. reserved a star till proven.

Great rig that lands sharks

Used this rig to land many sharks including large makos off the NJ coast. I have reordered a few again for this upcoming season

- Includes double hook setup with good spacing
- Long strong cable leader with minimal hardware
Cons
- If you have to cut the wire you need very good cutters since it is stranded cable all the way for the swivel to the hook
