Love odm, rods are definitely better than the lures. The spook is weighted in the back to improves casts however when not being retrieved it sits vertical in the water column. Better spook options available.

Glide spook does it all

As I said I haven’t used it yet. Like all my plugs, the treble hooks were replaced with inline replacement hooks. Worked like a popper, or walked like the spook it is, this lure will attract even the wariest of fish, I’m quite sure. It will cast well, and retrieve top water or just below the surface according to the way it’s worked. I’m not a prophet, but the way it’s built and reacts to any form of retrieval, will make this lure a goto in your lure bag
