Ocean Tackle International Slow Pitch Jigs were developed from the Japanese Slow Jigging Technique. These Jigs have a slower rate of descent to replicate a shocked or stunned bait fish which gives the jig more time to get bit. This is due to the keel weighted and slope design on the underside of the jig witch gives its erratic actions on the fall.

Awesome jig!

These are a great alternative to some of the more expensive options out there. Especially if you fish around the toothy critters. They get bit and hold up well. Doesn't hurt as much when you loose one.
Pros
  • Durable
  • Less expensive
  • Catch fish

Nice SP Jig

Finish and action are good. After about 5 uses, I don't see any difference in chipping and the finish holding up compared to my more expensive jigs.

Why do you have the weight in grams and not ounces?
1 Answer
Most jigs are measured in grams and are used heavily overseas, which is why the ratings are listed in grams.

How do you determine what weight jig to use?

1 Answer
Selecting the right jig size really just depends on your given fishing scenario. You may need heavier jigs in some cases, different profiles, colors, etc. There is no right or wrong for choosing what size, more so about how and what the fish are feeding on will usually determine the weight of the jig used.
