Bought this for fishing tarpon and sharks around bait pods. It’s constructed to get the job done.

Pretty happy with this lure. First time i've used it. Replaced the trebles with 8/0 inline single hooks, and seemed to be balanced fine. Easy to "pop", and it makes a good loud pop too. I've only had 2 short sessions with it, casting from a paddle-board at the mouth of a reef channel. Maybe 20-30 min each time. Had 4 fish follow it, of which 2 hit it and missed. One was big grouper, still don't know how he missed it. Lure cast well enough. Paint came off after 20min. , but underneath the purple color was a flashy-silver color, which I actually like. More about the action then colour anyway.

I've used this popper to fish for YFT and it rocked solid. Impressive building quality, caught lots of Tuna and still going strong.
The hooks are perfect and the lure performs great! This popper is great for mid sized tuna, it was very easy to cast far. Used a JW Ghost Hunter and a TW6000.
Definitely a must have popper!
