Always keep this popper with while fishing the deep water rigs in the GOM. Yellowfin love them, I always get several hookups and blow ups when throwing this lure. Purple is my go to color, also throw the blue.

The mouth/cup isn't very large, popping isn't as good. But, very strong and high quality product.

Took a chance on Ocean Tackle International. Was not disappointed the popper is built extremely well. In fact, I think it is over built in a good way. Far exceeded my expectations for the price. Was so impressed, i bought the smaller one then went directly to their site to see if I could cop more in different styles colors.

Great popper for tuna and cubera snapper. The lure is big and moves a ton of water when popped. The colorare great and wiring of this plug is super sturdy. This plug is made for big fish.

The lure worked great, swam good and made a nice splash, but after a whole day of throwing the paint had almost all chipped away and both eyes had came off. I also had 3 consecutive strikes, all of which I was unable to set the hook. I would recommend replacing the stock hooks with a size larger.

Just received my new poppers and the finish is the first thing I noticed. It's seems very good, as does the hardware that comes with it. Can't wait to try them out on some fish down on my trip to Panama.

These are great lures when just getting in to GT fishing.
You will lose some lures fish the rocks and corals so befor learning how to get them away from the rocks i used to fish these a lot.
Their still a great lure that i allways have a few of in my tackle box when i go ut in the boat or on the beach!
I useally up grade the hooks now to something like Owner Stinger-76 Treble Hooks or the 66 version if you dotn want to spend to much on the hooks.
it's good to get some really good splitt rings aswell!
Cast greats and has a great popping action catching a lot of air and water !
