The long assymetrical body of the Jitterbel Jig, along with its rear-center weighted body, generates a fast vertical drop with an erratic fluttering action that is excellent for enticing large fish. The luminous finish also better excites visual predators. Guarantees more reaction strikes from many big game species.
  • Laser-Effect Finish
  • Lifelike 3D Eyes
  • Through-Body Wire
  • Glow-in-the-Dark Edge
  • Rear-weighted

Fast Sinking
March 15, 2021
This jig is great if you need to reach bottom fast, therefore a must for deep water jigging, 400 feet or more. Keep it close to the bottom, glows in the dark and give it some action. Great for groupers.

It also has a good price and I had several or these jigs and they take a beating.
Pros
  • Goes to the bottom fast
Cons
  • Make sure you dont drop it on a hard surface because its going to bend

Good jig
April 1, 2020
This jig is a good sand eel imitation and can also be used in really deep water because it gets down to the bottom very fast because of the shape. This jig also has great action.
Pros
  • Action
  • Shape

Good jig
January 27, 2020
This is a great jig for deeper drops 300 + feet down. Have caught plenty fish with this jig . I give it 4 stars because it now comes with only one stinger hook instead of two and the hook size is smaller than before the company was bought out and moved to New Jersey. Previously this jig would be 5 stars
Pros
  • Catches fish
Cons
  • Only one hook
  • Wrong hook size

decent jig

I have bought several of the chartreuse jitterbels in 220g they will definitely catch fish. I have caught blackfin tuna albacore skipjack amberjack and cobia on these. the only bad thing about these jigs is I have had every one I ever used break. Where the wire comes out in the middle of the jig there is no wire running through the jig causing a weak spot. this is where they break.
Pros
  • they catch fish
Cons
  • they break too easy
