Great popper for SE FL

This popper is perfect to have rigged on a spinning rod for when you approach a weedline or any other floating debris. The weight of the lure allows for long casting too.

Great design

I opted for the single hook version of this popper to allow for easier dehooking when fishing in the mahi schools. This is a great popper to cast near the weedlines off of SE FL.

I have not used this lure yet, but it looks to be a good quality with a great design.

New favorite

This one and the "green mackerel" have been my new favorite lures from shore. They have done particularly well around rocks and have excellent reachability for their size.

My go to.

So far, this one and the "red head" have my go to lures from casting off rocks. This has killed it every time I pull it out.

Little hulk popper
April 6, 2021
The OB tuna rocket popper is just a beast of a lure. At first it looks tiny but let me tell you it can handle some nice size fish. The rear swivel definitely help you during the fight. It cast a mile not joking and even found myself using it from shore.
Pros
  • Long cast, strong comonents.
Cons
  • Would have been good to have the option of a center swivel.
