I received this ice pack free with my purchase of the Yeti Tundra 35 cooler. Nice ice pack, stays colder longer than any others that I know of. If I hadn't gotten it for free, I would definitely consider purchasing it.

Got this with my Yeti and it works well but probably wouldn't buy it alone.

In my observation, this pack stays cold for at least 24 hrs in an ordinary cooler inside a van under the sun. I'd estimate the pack is about 45d F after 24 hrs.

Used this ice pack in my Yeti. Stayed frozen for a couple days when packed with all the fish and crab.

Used this in a 25 Qt cooler for a weekend and was still partly frozen when I unpacked the cooler after 3 days. I did find it works better in conjunction with ice. It will actually freeze all the ice together. Placed on the bottom with some ice filled the cooler with drinks and topped off with ice and was good to go.

The wife has some 'girly' plastic Gel filled packs that she has been using in a quality Soft Side Cooler when she goes to the beach for 4 or 5 hours. I noticed they don't keep past 4 hours. I'm always looking for cold packs. So.....Initially I bought 2 NU-ICE. I froze them overnight and placed them flat on the bottom of the soft cooler. These things are 'AWESOME!' We are both amazed that they did thaw ALL day on the beach!! ALL DAY!! They were still froze when we put them back in the freezer. The 'girly' others were liquid!!! I have never used a better ice pack that lasts as long. I'm not rich...but use a lot of $ice$ Honestly.... I bought 7 more and want to get more. I will be using them in my 'Roadie' this week and as long as they last.

Received this through the YETI promotion, and was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the exterior and just how cold it got. Its the perfect ice pack to throw in the cooler the night before so that the cooler is cold when the ice goes in. Highly recommended.

they are a better option than ice, keep my fish in the ice box aroun zero degree C for about 3 days and no water in the ice box

First time i used this pack heading out on a 2 day tuna trip. Filled up the ice coolers with ice and threw the pack in it. Usually after a few hours the coolers would fill up with water and i would flip the switch to pump out water, but after 6 hours into the trip i checked the cooler and most of the ice surrounding the pack was frozen, very little ice melt. It's like the ice pack was a magnet and anything in it's vicinity was frozen stuck to it. I don't know the science behind it but it definitely keeps ice colder. I would suggest buying more than 1 for larger coolers. Very impressed!
