For those without the best eyesight, this braid is excellent for determining lure depth as well as tracking in tough-to-sea water color. Also, it has held up wonderfully when fishing structure. I definitely will be buying again!
Pros
  • easy to see color for depth changes as well when fighting a fish

Super thin and strong, use it to catch big snapper and grouper on a slow pitch setup.

Super thin

Excellent for slow pitch jigging . Thin diameter really cuts water resistance and metered colors are great for knowing your depth !
Pros
  • Thin diameter
  • Metered colors
Cons
  • Cost however it's well worth it to be dialed in

The line was great! Super strong and looks great on my new slow pitch rod. I had the 20# and loved it and decided to get heavier line on my bigger rod.

Honest review

I love the line color on the spool and the color doesnt bleed after multiple saltwater and freshwater trips. Line is smooth and thin, very comparable to PP Super Slick. The only issue i had with the line is that it frays really easy and wears down a lot faster than other lines that i have used.
Pros
  • Colors
Cons
  • Longevity

Great Looking Line, Bit Concerned About Durability
June 11, 2021
Last November I purchased a 600 yard spool of 30# Nomad Pandora Braid. It looked great and was supposed to be quite abrasion resistant, so I wanted to put it on a couple of my reels, 1 is a jigging outfit and the other is a light weight trolling outfit (lures like a diving plug).

The braid looked great and went on well, everything was looking good until last weekend when I cut out my old alberto knot connection from the main line pandora to my leader (40# seaguar) and attemted to retie my braid to leader using the same alberto knot. I "popped" the knot to cinch it down like I have done hundreds if not thousands of times with various lines and line connections, and the line broke about 2 inches before the knot. I cut about a foot off, retied using the same knot and it broke again, a couple of inches before the knot, on the main line side of the connection. I said what ever I will try a different knot and see if that helps, cut about another foot off of the main and a couple inches off of the leader, and this time used a uni X uni. No issues. I fished like that for the day and when I got home, I cut the uni X uni out and reconnected using an alberto because I didn't like the uni x uni going through my tip. I pulled and popped and tried to break the know but no issue this time. This led me to believe that there was some compromised braid around the knot, but how it got compromised I do not know, as I keep the rod and reel in a rod rack where the line doesn't contact anything, I transport them and am very conscious of how I do so. Overall I am a little skeptical of the quality of the line after this one event. I will continue to fish it with hopes that it was just a fluke, but if it happens again I will have to replace it with something else.
Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Possible quality control or durability issues

This line is fantastic. It's smooth as butter and it looks pretty nice too, and I can certainly tell it's strong. HOWEVER, it is extremely expensive, and for the budget angler that makes purchasing the perfect amount crucial. The line is very very thick, so beware of that. You need less than you think to fill your spool. In addition, the color increments are extremely long, so rather than getting the cool multicolor look, you'll end up with either a purple, blue, pink, or white spool, not all 4 at once.
Pros
  • Strength, smoothness, color
Cons
  • Thickness, long color increments

Tested in Kuwait!

I had this line spooled on my Kastking Sharky 3 during the time I lived in Kuwait, it was really an amazing combination, this line is very smooth, reliable, and nice multi-color as well!

I've caught some big fishes using this Braid!
Pros
  • 1) Very very smooth and beautiful.
  • 2) Better than many many cheap braids, this braid is worth the money.
Cons
  • I haven't experienced any problems with this line honestly,.

Does this line bleed its color? If so, how badly does it bleed? Will saltwater make it bleed worse than freshwater? Thank you.
1 Answer
No, this line was designed to highly abrasion resistant and to keep its color.
