The Lure Roll is available in two sizes and made from a heavy duty waterproof tarpaulin material. The Medium size has 6 clear pockets for a maximum storage capacity of up to 12 DTX Minnows or 15 Madmacs, while the Large size features 10 pockets with enough space for up to 22 DTX Minnows or 30 Madmacs. Both bags easily roll up and clip together for a compact storage solution. Clear pockets allow for easy lure identification and feature a heavy duty mesh top and bottom for easy rinsing and cleaning of your lures. Lure Roll Perfect Storage

I had lots of large lures and jigs and no convenient way of storing them. The lure roll provided the perfect storage solution. I was able to store lures and jigs in one convenient location. Now all I do is unroll the roll and pull the lure or jig that I need. I definitely recommend it:)

Great storage option for big baits

This is a great option for storing my oversized baits. I had a bunch of pike and musky lures that wouldn't fit into (or took up too much room in) my primary tackle bags. I also have a Supernatural Big Baits 12" Mattlock that I just kept in a side hatch of my boat because it wouldn't fit anywhere else. The Nomad Roll allows me to store all of my Bondy Baits, Medussas, the Supernatural, and a bunch of other lures in a neat roll, and the roll fits neatly in one of my boat's side hatches.
When it comes to size, as a reference: the 12" Mattlock maxes out the pocket. It doesn't 'really' fit, but it works (see image). If you have larger baits, this may not be an option (I think a thinner 12" lure would be fine, but the Mattlock is pretty fat). For Bondy Baits, I have three standard sized Bondys in one pocket and they fit fine. My roll is mostly filled, and it's around 8" diameter when rolled (see image).

As with every other Nomad Design product I've used the quality is top notch! The medium is right sized to hold plenty of lures and not weigh a ton. The innovative straps can be configured to roll it or carry it like a briefcase.
Pros
- Made really well. Material is heavy duty and has great stitching.
- The medium is just the right size to carry sufficient lures for a day of targeted trolling.
- Straps can be configured to either roll the bag or carry like a briefcase.
- The pockets are plenty big enough to hold the biggest hard trolling baits like Madmacs, DTX LRS Minnows, Marauders, etc.
- Has a good way to keep rigged lures' leaders/swivels, etc out of the way and not tangled.
Cons
- None that I have found.

Size of lures nd how to store them has always been a problem. Smaller lures and crank bait can fit anywhere but the big lures, even when the supplier sends big lures with a box, can quickly fill up your tackle box, which is often not need on a charter boat or in salt water fishing. This devise allow quick visible access to lure and comes in sturdy section so that hook don't hear up the bag or into each other in a tangle. Easy to open, closed, and carry in one hand with a couple of extra pockets for other items such as leader or hooks. (even a sandwich or granola snack bars. once opened, a quick look and it can be lost to prevent damage or larceny by a fishing buddy. Now, when I need a small lure, I don't have to move large lures, making use of my regular tackle box more friendly, while the wife won't be wondering how to fit another tackle box into the budget.
Pros
- Protection of lures and mesh flaps to release water and keep smells from happening due to proper drainage.
Cons
- It seemed stiff at first until I loaded it up with lures, which justified the stiffness due to puncture resistant cordurea outside, fastest buckles and heavy duty plastic windows.

Looks like an excellent design, especially for the Nomads or other lures with single hooks. I have numerous other plugs that have treble hooks, namely Bomber CD30's and X-Rap Magnum divebaits. How well does the plastic hold up to treble hooks? And... is there any problem with them getting caught in the mesh at the bottom or top of the compartments?

Hello Dave,
The Nomad Design Lure Roll is a great option to store lures when not in use. While using this bag with lures that
have treble hooks its probably best to add covers to the hooks so that they do not get snagged on the bag itself.

Hi Tim, The Nomad Design Lure Roll bag Medium size has 1 pocket with dimensions: 12"in x 6"in x 2"inches, and 5 pockets with dimensions of: 12"in x 3 1/2"in x 2"inches and The Large Size Roll-Up Lure bag have the same size pockets but ony has 1 Large pocket and 9 Small pockets.
