Achieving superior performance marks when used along any coastline, the Nomad Design Inshore Spinning Rods were designed for maximum performance in the world's most diverse inshore fishing grounds. This series of inshore rods was first developed by Nomad Design with lessons learned from over 20 years of fishing the shallow waters of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. While they were built for this incredibly diverse and unique angling environment, these inshore rods will feel right at home in the coastal waters of the US pursuing inshore species like striped bass, bluefish, snook, redfish, tarpon, permit… and the list goes on. The tip is designed to be light enough to cast small lures, but stiff enough to impart action to the lure. The medium-fast taper allows enough strength in the butt section to provide stopping power when you need it. Built on blanks made from Nomad's Helix30T blank system, the blanks feature the latest Japanese 30 Tonne Toray Carbon utilized in a precise carbon wrapping construction that provides enhanced sensitivity, strength, and blank responsiveness. These advanced blanks are fitted with split grip EVA handles, a Fuji GM reel seat, and Fuji Alconite K guides for premium performance on the flats, in the back-bays, or over nearshore reef systems.

Hi Ernie, Depending on what your fishing for I would would recommend a Shimano SRG5000SWAXG Saragosa SW A Spinning Reel. https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-srg5000swaxg-saragosa-sw-a-spinning-reel.html This would be pair well with your Nomad Design Inshore Spinning rod for inshore saltwater fishing applications. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
