Needs new rigging

That’s definitely work well for striped bass. I realize they are originally designed as a fresh water lure, they need to be re-rigged to use in salt water and the hooks need up grading to stand up to large stripers. I did manage to catch a cod fish with one as well.

These lures flop, flutter, dart and flash. I LOVE these lures. If there's a predator nearby it'll hit this lure. 've seen a 40"+ rockfish caught and landed on this lure, however I will reinforce the lure with wire due to the fact that we have big cobia and reds that could break or bend the lure.

Cons
- It is my understanding that these lures were designed for freshwater bass. I use them in the Chesapeake. I am going to change the treble hook and reinforce the back of the lure with wire and heavier tackle because I don't believe it's designed for inshore saltwater game fish like cobia and bull reds. Also they aren't cheap.
