these covers are well made of thick material.
My offshore rods ride in a rack in the back of my pickup going to and from the marina. These covers protect them from road dirt and sunlight during the drive. They also protect against bumps and abrasions while loading, especially while being carted down the dock and they protect both the boat and the rods when they are stowed in the rod racks under the gunnels.

Pros
- Well made, very tough material used.
Cons
- The cinch cords and keepers are different on four of the five covers purchased, it looks like they where whatever was left over in the shop. Two of the cords cinch and hold well, two are ok and one will not stay cinched. Minor problem easily fixed with keepers off an old back pack.
