Use these to build jigs for cod fishing, and they are outstanding. Very sharp, I haven't dropped or missed a fish yet with them. Very fair price also.

I would recommend using a split ring between sizes 7 and 9. Depending on the species of fish you are targeting, either the 7, 8, or 9's will work.
