I ordered these after seeing one of my youtube guys using them for yellow tail snapper in Florida. I took them with me on vacation and used them in the Cape Canaveral area in Florida and caught mangrove snapper on shrimp with them and then used them with fiddler crabs and sandfleas to catch sheepshead. I have bent a lot of hooks catching sheepshead, but not this trip, these hooks are pretty stout, but small enough and sharp enough to really set in the sheepers' mouth.

I’ve bought plenty from local bait shops but these are great. The paint is tough and the hooks are strong.

I use these out in the ocean with a small strip of ballyhoo and just let it drift until my line starts flying off my reel. Amazing snapper jigs without the need to use splitshots and small hook etc

Used on yellowtail and mangrove snapper with small shrimp attached instantly bitten. Twice the price in the keys at local bait shop. Strong hooks when you pry the mouth open to remove from snappers mouth .We use the pearl color.

My buddies and I use these hooks for yellowtail all of the time and can’t believe how strong they are, we hook some large, hard fighting bonito at times and they don’t straighten a bit. As far as hookup ratio, we miss our fair share, but also limit out regularly. My only complaint would be that you have to clear the eye of clear coat on most of them, but at this price...I’ll do it. Fish on!

These are the best yellowtail hooks that I have ever used! They are surprisingly strong and I feel as though the hookup ratio is very high. I don’t leave the boat ramp without them.
