7691 Southern Tuna Hook

The 7691 is my favorite hook on market and has a wide variety of uses. I use it from 7/0-11/0 in the DT and SS material. Out of the box it comes sharp enough to shotgun a beer with but will need sharpened before it gets fished. A quick touch up from a file and its laser sharp.

This is my "go-to" hook when fishing live mackerel or scads for big tuna. Extra strong, and the larger barb seems to hold better in the fishes mouth than some of the newer Japanese hooks.
