Mustad Shad/Darter Jig Head lures are part of the elite jig head series by Mustad. They are the product of intensive work with the Mustad Pro-staffers. A special injection molding technique has been used on these jigs to ensure quality, performance and balance. The hooks on these jigs feature UltraPoint 4.3 technology. The hooks are also 2X strong/2X long, forged, opti angle, ringed, and feature a black nickel finish. The heads of these jigs feature 3D eyes.

Great Jig

This is a well made and high quality jig. I would like to find something between a Bass and Crappie jig that I could use for American Shad. A stronger hook than a Crappie Jig and smaller than the typical bass jig. Maybe a 2x number 1 hook in 1/8, 3/16, 1/4. If you know of any, please advise. Needs to have a keeper for a plastic tail too.
