Long Reach To Keep Your Fingers

I use this to remove hooks from toothy and dangerous critters that I won't bring onto the boat. Typically used for large sharks and barracudas that we don't want to keep. Of course, it helps keep your fingers attached to your hand. I've been rinsing it after every trip to keep from corroding. Haven't been able to find long length aluminum pliers for saltwater use. So far, a rinse after every trip has kept this rust free.

Pros

Long enough to feel safe handling large, toothy critters.

Cons

Not aluminum, but staying corrosion free so far.
