These split ring pliers are awesome. I always have a pair on me whether it be in my kayak, on the Cape Cod Canal or in the surf. I can throw them in my waders, shorts or PFD. Pinpoint accuracy for split rings, perfect for opening those tight tactical angler clips and the fact they also cut line and braid makes them my go to when retying.

I don't go fishing without these pliers. I bought them for split ring pliers but found out they have incredible scissors that cut any line.

Handy for light duty

Good little tool for split rings, crimping barbs and split shot, clipping mono, holding lures and flies while dressing them out.
Pros
- Light and small.
- Variety of functions.
Cons
- Too light for some work.
- Spring can pop out.
- Cutter not great for braided line and can't reach flush with some knots.

My red grips on my KVD's disintegrated over time and lots of use! Extremely happy with the pliers over all. I was wondering if the grips were covered under the warranty and if so, how do I go about getting a new set?

The pliers themselves have a lifetime warranty against defects. However the cutters are not covered since they are replaceable. Please feel free to contact us if you have any more questions.
