For me a good hook, strong and Sharp. I use them to tie my own assist hooks, until now, no complaint at all.

Are these saltwater, are they stainless steel and are the eyes wide.

These are very strong saltwater ready hooks. The eye is very wide to accommodate very heavy leaders.

The Mustad 10827NP-BN Hoodlum Hook are saltwater, not stainless and do have wide eyes for adding leader.
