Mustard Bait Holder Hooks

These are great hooks for everything from fluke and sea bass to cod. These hooks are offset which really improves hook sets. They are also much better priced than Gamakatsu hooks.

I fish off shore twice a week and always bring along some live shrimp.
I was using a long shank hook then threading the shrimp on from the tail to the horn. My hook up ratio was not very good. One bite and the shrimp was gone.
Since using the Mustad sliced shank (Bait Saver) my hook up ratios skyrocketed. The fish just cannot easily pull the shrimp off because of the bait holder feature.
