how do you store a wind on leader after a fishing trip ?

You can either leave it spooled on the reel or take it off and wrap it up in a circle and store it in a cool dry place. Either way you always need to make sure that it is washed with fresh water so that it does not dry rot and reduce the break strength of the mono.
