We use this on our 80's, love the Momoi product line up and down, their braid does not bleep out like P.P. does.

You'll need hollow core line this is solid braid. I would suggest jerry brown hollow with the power pro splicing kit

Ronny, It all depends on how much use the line see over a fishing season. Braid can last anywhere from 1 to 3 fishing seasons. And a good amount of times you dont even have to replace it, all you have to do is flip the braid by de-spooling the reel and re-spooling it with the same braid only having the spool end of the braid now becoming the fresh tying end. Again if the braid has a lot of use its good to replace it about ever fishing season.
