Momoi makes super high quality mono lines and the diamond presentation is said to help reduce visibility of line. In my opinion, it is the best mono available. Great quality, very abrasion resistant and breaking strength is significantly above its rating. Also way cheaper than flouro which is not needed in a lot of settings. I have 1000 yard spools in 30, 60 and 100 lbs. Use mono vs flouro for leader line on all my rigs.... 30 lb for sheepshead, porgy, flounder rigs; use 60 lb for tog and Striper mojo tandem trolling rigs. Also use 60 lb and 100 lb for my top shot for my various rod/reel set ups. Use 100 lb for my tuna ballyhoo trolling rigs for sea witches, islanders, etc.

A lot of folks switching back to mono vs flouro and look at internet testing from Salt Strong (independent fishing org) who has done test to show mono is superior to flouro in abrasion resistance and knot strength. They have not tested visibility yet but I think Flouro may be less visible as diameter is less for equivalent line rating strength.

Hard to beat Momoi fishing line.

I bought 20lb momoi diamond line and used it at cape point on the outer banks nc to catch several blacktip sharks. Cast great, low memory, good knots and obviously very strong. My only complaint is the brilliant blue isnt quite brilliant. If you want a high visibility line buy the orange or yellow.

This is the best trolling mono I've used. If you're looking for the best casting line get something else- but if you're trolling for pelagics then you can end your search here. Spool up with Hi-Catch Diamond or use it as a topshot if you don't have the capacity for full-mono. You won't be disappointed.

After using 20, 30, 50 & 130 for a season I'd say this is the best mono I have used. I particularly like the low memory. We are able to stretch out the line easily to straighten it out for leader material. trolling rods set up with all mono 20's, 30's and 50's no issues what so ever. glad we bought 3000 spools
