The Molix MF Football Jig features a tungsten composite head construction that offers a number of improvements over traditional lead jigs. Tungsten is a far denser material than lead, causing it to be extremely sensible. The MF Football Jig's heightened sensitivity will help you determine the bottom composition of the area you are fishing far more effectively than a lead jig, making it easier to decipher between hard and soft bottoms, and pinpoint key pieces of structure that may hold fish. Tungsten carbide is also much more environmentally safe than lead, as some areas have banned the use of lead jigs all together for this reason. The MF Jig’s "Bi-Round" head gives the jig a unique action and encourages the jig to twitch and roll when dragged across bottom debris, bringing its fine cut silicone skirt to life. The MF Football Jig is best utilized when dragged across hard bottoms covering long distances during times of year when crawfish are a primary forage.
