The Missile D Bomb is a great flip bait rigged on a 4/0 Trokar flipping style hook. I used to use EWG but had issues with durability after hooksets. I swapped over to a flipping style hook and can get 4 fish on average per bait! Amazing colors, great for texas rigs, flipping/punching or even on jigs! This is one of my go to soft plastics!

Bought and rigged one today. Used a 3/0 Screw Lock hook by Owner figuring I'd get more use out of one bait than using a EWG hook. I went to skin hook the bait and found very little material to skin hook! These baits have a solid center body but, they are ribbed all the way around. This makes it very tough to skin hook. Plus, the ribs are razor thin and may hold for the first fish. After that, the hook point wont have anything to dig into. I can see this bait not being very weedless and hanging up a lot. Will have to try just burying the hook into the bait so I get the barb into some meat. Do yourself a favor, get the Berkley Pit Boss! It has a lot more meat to Texas rig with plus they are scented. You also get 10 per pack of the Pit Boss and only 6 D Bombs for the same price! These are plenty slimy though, I used the oil to lubricate the line on my Palomar knot. I'll pass.

This is a good bait with some unique color choices. Good for situations with pressured bass that have already seen it all

Tried for 1st time last Spring in NH and MA, Bass killed it on Texas Rig, a weightless rig, and a swim jig trailer. Very durable, many fish on each one. Reordered

If you bass fish and don't have these in you boat than you are missing out on a great bait. It works great as a trailer on a jig or rigged on a 5/0 with a weight and pop it and let it fall or you can swim it back it has great action. Get some and enjoy catching when other baits will not work.
