Smooth great reel

That is about where it ends for me. I was told by not one but two salesmen at a store I go to to check out gear in the hand before i buy, that these reels have a lot of returns and servicing done on them. They said the most common was with the drag and anti reverse going bad fast. These are Chinese made reels and here in the U.S. you have to go through Biminy bay outfitters ( distributors of Tsunami, Ande) to get anywhere with servicing. Although these reels look nice and all, the two gentlemen helping me recommended an Avet instead as they were a little cheaper and customer service is much better there, which i have first hand knowledge of and agree with. The drag is a little less on the Avets, but at least their warrantied for life and never really need replacement

awesome reel for bottom fishing and jigging

I have several reels for deep water bottom fishing. This reel is light compact and smooth. I put 600 yards of 60lb jerry brown and still have more room on the spool. The handle fits better than any other factory handle on the market to make it easy to crank up some big fish. The lever drag is progressive and smooth there is no binding or lag in the progressions all the way to full. This is now my favorite reel in my arsenal. The fit and finish is perfect. I use it for Tilefish, Seabass, Ling, Cod and Blackfish. I am planning to use it for jigging Tuna as well on my next tuna trip. I would highly recommend this reel to any saltwater angler.
